Our faculty are teachers first. They design courses around discussion, feedback, and hands-on work, and they treat undergraduate research as a core part of the curriculum, not an extra.
Since our founding, Weptington has remained deliberately small, so that every student is known, challenged, and supported.

A short history.
From a single building to a thriving campus, Weptington has grown by staying true to its founding idea: small classes, big ideas.
- 1931Weptington College is founded by a group of Oldbrook educators and neighbors, with 41 students and five faculty.
- 1962The college moves to its current campus on Frontage Street.
- 1987The Social Sciences department expands, adding Sociology and Political Science majors.
- 2009The nation’s first major in Judgmentalism is introduced and quickly becomes a campus favorite.
- Today1,200 students from across California and beyond study on campus.
Life in Oldbrook.
Oldbrook is a small California town with a big personality: tree-lined streets, a creekside trail, independent bookstores, and a Saturday farmers’ market that students treat as a weekly ritual. The campus is an easy walk from downtown.
